Thanks for taking the Train the Trainer Course on Decision Making. We appreciate the investment you've made in learning this time-tested team development tool and your desire to become an Authorized Trainer.
The group teach-back session provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate and elevate your competence and comfort training others on the Decision Making tool. The Decision Making Trainer Certificate Rubric Guide, provided as a part of the course, highlights the standards within each section of the Decision Making tool that a trainer must meet to earn a Trainer Authorization in the tool. The list below, however, outlines what to expect from the teach-back session itself.
1. A relaxed, supportive environment
- No interrogation lamps, trick questions, or calculus—just a virtual meeting with a Corentus Evaluator and fellow practitioners with a passion for elevating team effectiveness
- The teach-back will be recorded, for possible review after the session, but will then be deleted
2. An opportunity to test your knowledge and skills
- Your evaluator will select a microtool and ask you to teach it to the group, answering questions, and providing instructions as you would with a client team or class of trainees
3. Feedback and authorization determination
- Your evaluator will share feedback and provide official teach-back results and authorization determination within 48 hours of the session’s end
We look forward to you engaging with us—and to you bringing this powerful team development tool to the leaders, groups, and teams you support.
